Language is extremely important aspect of a presentation since people think and speak in words. Choosing the proper wording that is specific and simple at the same time might be difficult, but will be worthwhile in the end.
When describing or explaining something the wording has to be perfect. It takes more time and preparation to simplify and interpret a topic. Long-winded presentations are common, meaningless, and gain nothing for you the speaker and your audience. Simplified presentations that focus on thorough explanation gain return on investment making the presentation worthwhile. Ernest Hemingway even said something on the line of – I wrote a long story because I didn’t have time to write a short one.
